The Argentario is a cape on the Tuscan coast south of Grosseto, connected to the mainland through the Orbetello Lagoon, one of the most important wildlife oases in Italy. Opposite the islands of Giglio and Giannutri, reachable via sea connections.
The Argentario is one of the major tourist environment, combining the charm of historic villages (Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole) with the beauty of the seaside resorts, to which Talamone, Fonteblanda and Ansedonia are added a few kilometers away. Inland the towns of Capalbio and Magliano in Toscana are also not to be missed
