Also in <strong>Piazza del Campo<\/strong> is the <strong>Palazzo Pubblico<\/strong> with its own tower, called <strong>Torre del Mangia<\/strong>. Not far from <em>Piazza del Campo<\/em>, the <strong>Siena Cathedral<\/strong> is particular for its black and white facade<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few kilometers north of Siena is the charming medieval center of <strong>Monteriggioni<\/strong>, an ancient fortified village that has remained almost intact in its structure. About 30 km south of Siena in a beautiful position stands the <strong>Abbey of San Galgano<\/strong>.
