Grosseto has a historic center surronded by Renaissance style walls with streets and alleys where there are shops and typical restaurants.
After spending the whole day discovering the historic center with the Cathedral and the various archaeological museums, it is possible to quickly reach several seaside resorts that offer multiple tourist attractions (Marina di Grosseto, Principina, Castiglione della Pescaia)
In particular, the medieval village of Castiglione della Pescaia shows a great variety of landscapes: from the beaches of Castiglione itself and the nearby Punta Ala, to the wetlands of Daccia Botrona as well as to the adjacent hills covered with woods and vast vineyards
